Call Description:
The GEM program is made possible through the generous funding of donors, the hard work of onsite partners, and the collaborative engagement of independent companies and individuals. At the end of every year, the GEM program likes to thank these individuals and organizations in creative ways. In the past, the GEM team has sent out festive season greeting cards, small gifts, printed pictures, and even videos of thanks. This year, the GEM team is planning to thank the GEM partners and donors by giving them a Poetry Book – a collection of GEM students’ poems. Therefore, we call everyone with poetry talent to submit their original poems, and for those that will be selected, authors will be compensated.

Expectations:

    • The poem should be the students’ original work
    • The poem topics can be about gratitude, best wishes, encouragement, appreciation, empowerment. Romantic poems are not encouraged
