About the position

As an offline marketer intern, you will be closely involved in the execution of our marketing strategy for our Commercial First Aid department together with another intern of Kepler. The goal of this marketing strategy is to increase the awareness of our Commercial First Aid services. You as the offline marketer, will mainly focus on the organization of events and setting up a Public Relations strategy. You will work as a real offline marketer, where you will first setup a planning and plan for ressources, then organize events and other marketing efforts, execute your plan and then eventually monitor and evaluate results. You will make sure to document and report all our marketing efforts to our stakeholders in an organized and structured way.


What you will do

  • Support the Commercial First Aid department of RRC in marketing and sales activities
  • Work in an international environment with the Belgian Red Cross delegations
  • Writing reports, and setup marketing monitoring and evaluation tools
  • Work with us on designing a new Red Cross website
  • Work with us on designing a sales funnel for our First Aid kits
  • Develop content material for our new website (text)
  • Organize big events in Kigali to expose our services to the people in real-life
  • Translations from English to Kinyarwanda and vice versa


Who you are

  • Student in marketing, sales or business related field
  • In the possession of a well-functioning personal laptop/computer
  • A socially responsible person with high humanitarian values
  • Interested in the development sector where social impact always comes before brofits
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English and Kinyarwanda
  • High interest in digital marketing
  • Proficient in English
  • Proficient in Word, Excel
  • Digital native with proficient computer skills 
  • Quick learner with high motivation for learning more marketing skills
  • User of social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter)
  • Great organizational skills
  • Videographer/photographer skills are a plus
  • Experience in event planning is a plus
