JOB TITLE: Jibu Microcredit Project Intern

REPORTS TO: Microcredit Project Manager

DURATION: 3 months 

 

Description 

The primary role of the Microcredit Project Intern is to actively market and sell the Jibu 20 Litre Tap bottle loan to SACCO members in designated communities. Activities may also include monitoring and evaluation tasks and other tasks as assigned by the Microcredit Project Manager.

Job Duties and Responsibilities : 

  • Door-to-door sales of Jibu 20L tap bottle loans to SACCO members
  • Staff marketing activities and pitch new customers
  • Daily tracking of presentation, sales, hours and calls
  • Following up on generated leads in a timely manner
  • Positively represent Jibu and build relationships with SACCO leaders, government officials and community members
  • Other duties as determined by the Microcredit Project Manager

 

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Experience in customer relationship management
  • Background in door-to-door selling is preferred
  • A self-starter and initiator
  • Fluent in Kinyarwanda

 

Compensation

Stipend to cover transport and lunch will be provided
