SNHU is looking for a Subject Matter Expert Consultant who will be helping in re-designing the competency-based Healthcare Management programs.
New program SMEs are individuals identified as authorities in a particular discipline of study who have a high-level understanding of requirements, developments, and trends in their field and are able to articulate their practice and the knowledge, skills, abilities, and dispositions necessary for graduates to be successful.
The total stipend for this project is $800 (10 weeks: 10/15/18-1/4/18), with 5-8 hours of work per week.
SMEs participate in remote, synchronous group and individual sessions over nine weeks to refine the overall program information and draft the curriculum mapping, standards alignments, and descriptions and check for cultural relevancy and contextualization.
These synchronous sessions are typically held for one hour, once a week during business hours (EST: M-F 8-4:30 PM). These sessions result in work that needs to be completed over the next several days and returned to the facilitator for review and discussion during the next session. It is estimated that the total time commitment is 5-8 hours per week. Group sessions will be scheduled as we get closer to the workshop and individual sessions will be scheduled between you and a curriculum designer.
Qualification: Current SNHU student in good standing, or SNHU graduate living in Rwanda.
