Global Innovators Academy is seeking 10 Writing and Communications Interns. The interns will be responsible for creating content for Global Innovators Academy.
During the internship, interns will be required to take a short course called “Interview an Innovator”. As part of the course, the interns will conduct interviews with innovators of personal interest to them and then write an article that is published online. Examples of articles by students who have gone through this course can be found at this link. As a result of the experience, interns gain inspiration about careers, learn critical digital communications skills, spark their own ideas about innovation, enhance their professional networks, and become more marketable.
After completing the Interview an Innovator project, interns will be asked to provide feedback for the betterment of the program, and to assist in other writing, communications, and marketing tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- Interest in communications, social media, networking, and marketing
- Interest in education and entrepreneurship
- Strong written English skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with conducting interviews is an advantage
- Experience with writing blogs or articles is an advantage
