Women@Web promotes women’s participation online through digital literacy & digital skills training  while advocating for online safety and women’s digital rights. 

Women at Web as part of a wider regional network Women at Web under DW Akademie and German  Cooperation is determined to push for awareness on safe online spaces free from online gender-based  violence, justice for victims of online gender-based violence as well as a capacity-building that will  enable women to use the internet and digital technology. 

Main Role 

The main purpose of this role is to support the project’s coordinator in executing administrative tasks  required to achieve the project’s targets. 

Job Description 

  • Schedule regular meetings and record decisions (e.g. assigned tasks and next steps) Break projects into doable tasks and set timeframes and goals 
  • Maintain and update budgets as project progresses 
  • Communicate pertinent information between management and staff 
  • Attend all project meetings and take notes 
  • Prepare and provide documentation to internal teams and key stakeholders
  • Order resources, like training materials, equipment, etc to be used in the planned activities 
  • Document necessary information (e.g. participants’ information and feedback)
  •  Track and document expenses and store receipts obtained from expenses 
  • Monitor project progress and address potential issues 
  • Provide financial reports at the end of each activity  
  • Prepare and update the accounting tool with all the supportive documents 
  • Follow up with the contracts, timesheets and invoices of all personnel working on the project  
  • Qualification and Experience 
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree required 
  • Proven experience as a project administrator or in similar role 
  • Ability to learn fast the industry and project’s mission and goals 
  • Strong leadership skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) 
  • Extremely organized and focused 
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written 
  • Ability to motivate and keep staff on task 
  • Propensity for multi-tasking  and Deadline driven
