In a world where competition for employment is fierce, youth in Ethiopia are embracing the opportunity to enhance their employability through Kepler’s Graduate Employment Program (GEP). The program equips learners with essential soft skills, empowering them to navigate the job market with confidence.

Students like Tariku Teshome and Wibet Aderajew Miseganaw from Addis Ababa Tegbare-Id Polytechnic College are among the 2,335 trainees who have experienced firsthand the benefits of the program.

Tariku Teshome, a 21-year-old Accounting student, discovered the immense value of Kepler’s GEP training sessions. Reflecting on his decision to enroll, Tariku emphasized his desire to enhance his writing skills and improve his ability to communicate effectively in various professional settings.

I believe the skills I am acquiring will shape my career path by making me more successful in my chosen profession,” Tariku shared. “The ability to write compelling resumes and cover letters, as well as to communicate effectively, will give me a competitive edge when applying for jobs. I am excited about the prospects ahead.

Wibet Aderajew Miseganaw, a 20-year-old Accounting student, was inspired to enroll in Kepler’s GEP after witnessing the transformation of a friend who had undergone the program. Intrigued by her friend’s improved computer literacy skills and other acquired abilities, Wibet decided to explore the program for himself.

I am learning how to effectively organize my tasks and complete my work on time. This is an essential skill for any professional, as it allows me to be efficient and productive,” Wibet shared. “I am also developing strong communication skills, both in writing such resumes and cover letters, and in person. This will allow me to effectively communicate with my colleagues and clients, which is essential for success in any business environment.

Both Tariku and Wibet’s experiences exemplify the transformative impact of Kepler’s Graduate Employment Program.
