On Friday, 19 May 2023, Kepler College hosted its annual Open House event at its Campus in Kinyinya, Gasabo District. The third edition brought together more than 100 prospective students, guardians, and faculty to showcase Kepler College’s commitment to providing affordable and accessible high-quality education, and preparing students for successful careers.
At the open house event, Kepler College faculty and advisors were on hand to discuss available academic programs, financial package options, and student services. The event offered engaging activities and valuable insights, providing aspiring students with the opportunity to explore transformative educational experiences awaiting them and take their first steps towards a successful career path.
One-on-one support for applications
Recognizing that the application process can seem daunting, prospective students had the opportunity to engage in one-on-one sessions with admissions counselors. This allowed students to receive guidance and support, addressing their concerns along the way. This individualized attention demonstrates Kepler College’s commitment to ensuring a seamless transition for prospective students, further bridging the gap between aspiration and realization.
Exploring academic programs
90 percent of Kepler College students are employed within six months of graduation. Kepler College offers industry-aligned programs such as project management, ensuring students receive practical and relevant education. During the Open House, prospective students learned about the diverse range of the courses available through interactive presentations and discussions. The college equips economically disadvantaged young Africans including refugees and people with disabilities with 21st-century skills, preparing them to become modern employees for the future of work.
Discovering financial package and student services
At the Open House event, attendees had the opportunity to discover the various financial packages available at Kepler College. From scholarships to loans and work-study programs, the university ensures that students have the support they need to pursue their education. Moreover, the event provided insights into the extensive range of student services offered, including career counseling, internships, and mentoring, further enhancing the holistic learning experience.
Exploring facilities and experiencing the atmosphere
After the event, participants explored Kepler College’s learning facilities and got a feel of the campus atmosphere. The guided tour showcased the modern classrooms, and collaborative spaces designed to foster innovation and creativity. By immersing themselves in the Kepler College’s learning environment, attendees gained a deeper understanding of how the institution cultivates a dynamic and engaging atmosphere that nurtures personal and professional growth.
