Dan Gwinnell currently works as a Project Director and Technical Advisor for the US COVID-19 response with Partners in Health. Previously, he was the CEO of Kepler from 2017 to 2020. Prior to joining Kepler, Dan spent six years working with the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) in various countries across sub-Saharan Africa, most recently as Country Director of the Sierra Leone office. He has also worked in Liberia, DRC, Cameroon, Malawi, Ethiopia, Rwanda, South Africa and Zambia, among other countries across Africa and Asia. Before joining CHAI, Dan worked with Global Health Strategies, a New-York based consultancy focused on advocacy, communications and policy analysis for global health issues.
He holds an MPA in Nonprofit Management and Public Policy from New York University, and teaches occasionally at the Institute of Humanitarian Affairs of Fordham University.
