The Board of Directors of Kepler is pleased to announce the appointment of Nathalie Munyampenda as new Chief Executive Officer effective June 29th 2020.

You can read more about Nathalie’s impressive background below.

“Finding a new CEO was not a decision that we took lightly. We spoke to dozens of candidates during this process, many of whom had impressive backgrounds in higher education, social enterprises, private sector organizations, and so on. None of them brought the combination of leadership, intellect, drive and grit that Nathalie demonstrated throughout the process. We have every confidence that she lead Kepler to new heights over the years to come. I would also like to thank outgoing CEO Dan Gwinnell for his incredible contributions to the Kepler mission and leadership of the organization,” said Mr. Oliver Sabot, Chair of the Board of Directors at Kepler.

“I am very excited to join Kepler as CEO. With a tested blended learning model that puts the student at the heart of learning and builds competencies that prepare all students for employment even before they graduate, Kepler is a game-changer in Rwanda and the region, especially during these COVID-19 times. Together with an incredible leadership team, I look forward to scaling this impact, expanding partnerships and employment outcomes for our students and continuing to offer a quality education to vulnerable and refugee populations,” said Nathalie Munyampenda.

As Dan hands over to Nathalie, he had this to share with Kepler staff and community, “It has been a privilege and a pleasure to work with Kepler these past years, and see the organization mature and expand in ways I could never have expected. Our organization has an extraordinary mission supported by an incredible team, and I will miss working with all of the staff, students and partners that have made these last three years so special.”

Please join us in warmly welcoming Nathalie to the Kepler family!
